The "Intersection Check" tool will find and display all the intersections between solid groups and components, on entire model at once (or selection), including subgroups and subcomponents.
Please note that this tool can check only intersections between solids and ignore the non-solid entities.
This command will also show you the number of open edges that makes some entities non solid.
Please note that this command is very powerful and consume great amount of processing power.This is why you can check the progress of the operation in the lower left corner window. 
To exit from this tool you have to select other tools (like always), for example the "Select" tool.
